The permeability of the filter belt screen is reduced and the contaminated fluid level rises with an increasingly thick filter cake.

The belt run switches on and conveys the carrier belt, together with the filter belt screen, forwards at a defined fill level. Permeable filter belt screen is thus moved onto the filter surface, the volume flow increases and the contaminated fluid level decreases. 

The liquor and washing of filter cloth could be collected separately. It has the advantages of low moisture of filter cake, high filtration efficiency, good washing efficiency, large production capacity, low maintain cost, flexible operation, etc.

The filter belt screen runs through the following stations:

     a) Blow-off nozzle and knock-off shaft (separation of the concentrate from the belt)
     b) Scavenging nozzle (separation of the remaining particles from the belt)
     c) Drying phase (removal of fluid from the concentrate)
     d) Prefiltering device (belt already has a thin filter cake)
     e) Filtering phase (precipitation of dirt particles)
