The belt filter press type SNP is a continuously operation machine, in which the sludge is carried between two filter belts along 14 press rollers. The diameter of the press roller is reduced constantly which results in an increasing pressure. The belt filter press can be used in the following industrial sectors:

The filter belts have the characteristics of good water permeability, air permeability and non-revealed sludge, acid-resisting and alkali-resisting. Because of their designing structure, the sludge can be peel off easily from the filter cake, so the filter belt are easily cleaned and have a long working time.

An essential advantage of the belt filter press compared to other dewatering processes is the possibility to enlarge the capacity for high throughput by extending the predewatering zone of the belt filter press (e.g. by installing a belt thickener on top of the press).
